None arrive with less warning - or more flair - than Duskwhistle Ironbill, the soot-feathered rogue of the rain-slick rooftops. His silhouette is first seen against a bruised sky, trailing stormclouds like a feathered frigate. Chimneys whistle in his wake, and the wind seems to hum the rhythm of his arrival.

A Common Starling by species, but anything but common by reputation, Ironbill captains the Cloudrack Flock, a sky-faring crew of misfits and marauders who ride the stormfronts like airborne privateers. Their calls echo like laughter through alleyways and rafters, and their aerial formations would shame a battalion of falcons.

Duskwhistle himself bears an iridescent sheen - purples, greens, and oily blues - like a night sky caught mid-thunderclap. His beak, often stained with chimney soot or blackberry juice, is said to crack walnuts, witless insults, and enemy formations with equal ease.

He is a wanderer, a scoundrel, a songsmith of the twilight hours - known to serenade weather vanes and harass weathervanes in equal measure. Children leave breadcrumbs in windowsills in hopes of catching a verse of his storm-slick lullabies. Old crows roll their eyes, but listen all the same.
