In the heart of the Whispering Glade, where sunlight filters through dew-laced leaves and the air is thick with the scent of honeysuckle, dwells Emberwyn, a cardinal of ancient grace and fierce devotion. Her feathers shimmer like fire at dawn, and her presence is said to warm the air even in winter’s chill.
Once a humble songbird, Emberwyn earned her title by rallying the forest’s creatures during the Battle of Hollowroot, where invading crows threatened the peace of the glade. With a voice that could rattle pinecones and a gaze that could silence owls, she led a chorus of defenders and drove the darkness back.
Now, she is known as the Hearthwarden, protector of nests and keeper of forest lore. Legends whisper that if you hear her call at dusk, it’s a blessing - a sign of safety, love, and the ember of courage burning quietly in your chest.
