Canopy Court

The Canopy Court is Emberwood’s visible rule-where crimson authority meets sunlight and thorn-law becomes decree. It is not a palace, but a perch of consensus: the highest branches, the clearest views, the place where warnings are heard first and decisions must be made before the realm can pretend it is safe.

Its matters are not grand for their own sake. They are practical:

border disputes at hedge-lines
hawk-signs and storm omens
feeder truces and nesting rights
the keeping of Emberwood’s name as something worth defending

The Court convenes beneath the Hearttree’s sunlit crown, with its Speaker holding the line between courtesy and command.
