Korrath Shadebeak
Korrath Shadebeak is the crow that moves through Emberwood as if the twilight itself bends around him. Not as loud or showy as Gravelok Storm-Witness, Korrath does not call storms to attention-he rides their edges, observing what others overlook, and remembering what the light tries to wash away.
Among the Black Sentinels, Korrath bears the title Shadow-Warden, for he is the guardian of secrets no other bird dares to carry. He collects whispers from the leaves, echoes from the underbrush, and half-forgotten warnings from the wind. Birds who cross him seldom realize it until the lesson has been silently delivered.
Unlike Corvath Darkwing, whose authority is undeniable, Korrath commands subtly. He appears when the quietest mischief brews, perching just out of sight, letting the shadows stretch long, and making sure every fledgling in Emberwood knows: nothing moves unseen forever.
Korrath’s eyes have watched every intrusion and betrayal; his feathers have brushed against the wings of the unwary. He neither judges hastily nor punishes without cause, but when action comes, it is precise, unavoidable, and remembered.
He is Emberwood’s silent sentinel-the keeper of the unnoticed, the chronicler of the hidden, the shadow that warns before the world even notices the danger.
Korrath Shadebeak does not seek storms. He does not seek glory. He seeks only to see, to remember, and to act when the time is just.
