Kaedor The Fierce
Winged thunder. Screeching war cry. Flash of blue and vengeance. Kaedor the Fierce is no ordinary Blue Jay - he is the storm’s herald, the brash sentinel of the upper boughs, and the self-proclaimed Lord of Skyward Bluster.
Clad in sapphire and frost, Kaedor commands attention before he even opens his beak - which he very much intends to do. Loudly. Repeatedly. And with great conviction. His cry has scattered crows, startled cats, and once made a windchime rethink its purpose.
He is cunning, strategic, and absolutely convinced he’s the smartest creature in the woods - and honestly, he might be. Kaedor can mimic hawks to scare off rivals, coordinate raids on feeder stockpiles, and recite entire squirrel insults in five dialects.
Despite his ferocity and flair for drama, Kaedor is a loyal ally - if you’ve earned his trust (a feat akin to solving a puzzle box in midair while being yelled at). He’s been known to divebomb snakes, alert nests of incoming danger, and once held a staring contest with a lawn gnome for three hours. The gnome blinked.
He wears no crown, for his voice is the crown. He claims no territory, for the sky belongs to him.

Oath: Raise the alarm loudly enough that even complacency wakes up.
Portent: When Kaedor goes silent mid-perch, something in the air has convinced even him to listen.
