House Sparrow
Sir Pipsqueak

Do not let his size deceive you - Sir Pipsqueak is a knight of the old code, the kind of bird who duels shadows, guards garden gnomes, and insists upon being addressed with full title and dramatic pause.
A House Sparrow of indomitable spirit and unshakeable confidence, Sir Pipsqueak was once the runt of a crowded nest behind a tavern sign. But he rose - oh yes, he rose - peeping louder than all the others, flapping harder, and eventually proclaiming himself Defender of the Window Ledge Realm and Knight of the Order of the Upside-Down Flower Pot.
Clad in a dusty chestnut plume and armed with a sharp chirp and quicker wit, he patrols patio planters and rain gutters with pride. His sword? A toothpick. His shield? A bottlecap. His honor? Utterly unassailable.
Though often underestimated (and occasionally escorted off bakery premises), Sir Pipsqueak is known for acts of quiet valor: warning chicks of prowling cats, distracting hawks with impromptu sky-jousts, and once divebombing a scarecrow out of sheer principle.
To the untrained eye, he may appear scrappy. To those who know him? He’s legendary.
